Russian President Vladimir held a meeting with his election campaign confidants at the Kremlin in Moscow.
The list of the President's confidants includes 544 representatives from various fields, who are well-known and trusted by their professional communities. Among them are political and public figures, representatives of culture, art, science, and sports. The Head of State emphasized that citizens’ trust is a special and multiplied responsibility.
Vladimir Putin thanked all those present for their support and joint work. In his speech, he stressed that the implementation of all initiatives and the continuation of the country's progressive development can only be achieved together. The Head of State addressed his confidants both as peers and as representatives of Russia’ citizens, civil society and the multinational population.
« We must all once again thank the voters, the citizens of Russia, for the trust they have placed in us. It is us – all of us together. Because both you and I have set out our joint programme for the development of the country,» Vladimir Putin said in his speech.
At the end of his speech, Vladimir Putin added that his victory in the elections was only a prologue to the victories that Russia so desperately needs and that are sure to come.
