On 30 August, the Institute of Medical Education of Almazov Centre held a graduation ceremony for clinical residents. In 2024, 418 young specialists in 37 specialties successfully completed their training.
Upon completion of the residency programme, graduates will work in leading medical institutions in almost 30 regions of Russia and implement new medical technologies in Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Gershtansky, Minister of Health of the Arkhangelsk region, extended their congratulations to the young doctors in congratulatory messages. Alexey Tereshin, Deputy Chair of the St. Petersburg Healthcare Committee, spoke on behalf of the St. Petersburg Government.
Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of Almazov Centre, addressed the graduates with words of gratitude for their dedication to their profession.
On behalf of the entire faculty, Elena Parmon, Director of the Institute of Medical Education, extended a warm welcome to the graduates.
On behalf of all graduates, Anastasia Filatova and Soltan Soltanov expressed gratitude to their mentors for the knowledge and experience gained, the unforgettable atmosphere during their studies, and noted that they will always remember the time spent in the residency of Almazov Centre.
