On 16-18 October, the III International Congress of Russian Medical Education, ROSMEDOBR-2024 was held in Moscow. The specialists of the Institute of Medical Education of Almazov Centre took an active part in the work of the congress held in the Lomonosov Technology Cluster.
Over the course of three days, with 1387 participants from all over Russia and abroad, the Congress featured more than 50 sessions and over 250 presentations.
ROSMEDOBR is a leading platform that brings together experts in the field of medical education, as well as opinion leaders representing medical educational organizations and universities.
The Institute of Medical Education was represented by:
• Elena Parmon, Director of the Institute of Medical Education,
• Evgeny Ripp, Head of the Accreditation and Simulation Centre,
• Galina Kukharchik, Dean of the Medical Faculty.
Tatyana Ripp, Professor of the Accreditation and Simulation Centre moderated the session on ‘Clinical Training’ and delivered a presentation entitled “The impact of using the XR-clinic virtual reality simulator on the development of doctor’s professional thinking”.
Elena Sivukhina, Deputy Dean of the Medical Faculty, delivered a presentation entitled “Experience of introducing game technologies in teaching biological subjects in a medical university”.
At the opening ceremony of the III International Congress ROSMEDOBR-2024 on 16 October, the results of the 'First Medical Games of the Future’ were presented. The Almazov Centre team, which included fourth- and fifth-year students from the Medical Faculty, were awarded the bronze medal.
On 18 October, the results of the ROSMEDOBR Association Prize competition in the field of education were announced at the ROSMEDOBR Congress.
Almazov Centre became the winner in the nomination “Technological Education. Simulation Technologies” nomination with the project “Educational modernization – systematic introduction of a full-cycle simulation-based practice-oriented training in the educational programs of medical universities” (authored by: Ripp E.G., Ripp T.M., Zverev A.S., Parmon E.V.).
At the Congress, Dr. Tatyana Ripp was elected as aa member of the ROSMEDOBR Supervisory Board.
