The International Congress of the Transplantation Society (TTS 2024) was held in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 22-25, 2024.
Maria Simonenko, Senior Researcher at the Department of High-Tech Methods for Heart Failure Treatment, cardiologist and transplant surgeon of the Clinical and Diagnostic Centre, gave a presentation, entitled “Dynamics of physical and mental quality of life long-term after heart transplantation.” She also presented the results of a further study, entitled “First experience of Inclisiran therapy after heart transplantation”, at the poster session themed “Thoracic (Heart and Lungs)”.
The event was attended by over 4,000 international experts in transplantation medicine, as well as solid organ recipients. The comprehensive programme encompassed a vast array of subjects, from the medical management of post-transplant complications to the advancement of pioneering scientific innovations, including those in the area of xenotransplantation. The congress provided a unique opportunity for specialists to engage in discourse and exchange best practices in the development of transplant programs, organ donation, and to gain insights into the latest research and clinical achievements.
