Swiss-Russian symposium «Translational cardiology» was held in Federal Almazov Medical Research Centre. Symposium Chairmen were Director of the Research Institute of cardiovascular diseases at the University Hospital of Zurich, professor, European Heart Journal Chief Editor, Thomas Lüscher and director of Federal Almazov Centre, President of the Russian Society of Cardiology, Academician Evgeny Shlyakhto.
Speeches on the cooperation of the University of Zurich and Federal Almazov Centre in the field of translational medicine were presented by Evgeny Shlyakhto and Thomas Lüscher.
Presentations on the development of different directions in this field were made also by:

- Mikhail Galagoudza and Anna Kostareva, Directors of the profile institutes
