Within the course “Translational Cardiology Exchange program” leading experts of the Centre shared their practical experience in cardiology and cardiac surgery and also presented scientific achievements to their Spanish colleagues.
Professor Evgeny Shlyakhto opened the session with the presentation on great potential of translational research and all the work in this field that our Centre conducts for several years.
Different practical aspects of cardiologist's work and clinical research whose results are applied in the treatment of patients were discussed.
Spanish doctors also had opportunity to make clinical visit and observe their Russian colleagues in working places performing procedures and compare it with their own experience.
