Russian Neurosurgical Journal Named After Professor Polenov is a quarterly scientific and practical journal focusing on the issues of neurosurgery and related specialties. It provides the latest updates and insights on basic research in the field of neuroscience and the achievements that may be associated with scientific developments in neurosurgery.
The editorial policy of the journal is to cover topical issues of neurosurgery, including not only surgical and neurorehabilitation issues but also fundamental aspects (molecular genetics, topical issues of diagnostic radiology, surgical neurology and other associated areas).
Goals and objectives: to inform the neurosurgical audience about modern diagnostic methods and treatments for diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, relying on the best world experience.
Target audience: neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, anesthesiologists, ophthalmologists, pathologists, neurophysiologists.
The Journal was included in the List of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science for publication of major doctor’s theses.
The Journal is available in the Scientific Electronic Library and is listed in the Russian Science Citation Index. The RSCI database contains full-text versions of articles from all issues of the journal from 2008 till date.
