MedX Ventures Group is an investment and management company focused on Israel enterprises and unique developments in the field of medical technologies. MedX, the Israeli medical incubator, is interested in startup companies developing innovative medical devices and is actively planning to create an international cluster that can offer solutions for the most difficult health problems.
On April 25, 2017 the managing partners of MedX Ventures Group Amir Blumenkrantz and Steve Stein visited the Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Centre. Several know-how projects of the specialists from the Almazov Centre were presented to Israel specialists:
- Dr. Alexander Bazhenov, Head of the Science Department, Leading Researcher at the Rheumatology Department, presented the model «Device for injection under ultrasound control»
- Dr. Andrei Kozlenok, Head of the Blood Circulation Physiology Department presented a description of a small-sized mass spectrometer for analyzing exhaled air micro-composition to detect cardiovascular disease markers.
- Drs. Alexander Krutikov and Dmitry Korolev, researchers of the Nanotechnologies Research Center at the Almazov Federal Center presented a combined device for treatment of arterial blood flow disorders in the lower limbs.
