On August 10, an 84-year-old woman with myocardial infarction was taken by helicopter from Podporozhskaya Interdistrict Hospital to the Almazov National Medical Research Centre.
It was the first time when a seriously ill patient was transported directly to the Centre. The helicopter landed on the site designed to provide emergency and rescue operations and located on the roof of the Main Clinical Complex. The landing and further exit after takeoff were successful.
On the Almazov Centre helipad the team of reanimatologists and cardiologists met the patient: she was taken to the ICU and got high-tech medical care.
