Drs Maria Simakova and Olga Irtyuga, researchers of Cardiomyopathy Laboratory at the Almazov National Medical Research Centre under the supervision of Professor Olga Moiseeva, Head of the Department of Noncoronary Diseases, took part in the V Russian Congress on Pulmonary Hypertension held in Moscow on December 13-14, 2017.
They presented the data from the Almazov Centre Registry of patients with pulmonary hypertension, the experience of patients routing in the North-West Federal District and the outcomes of five-year follow-up of the PAH patients. The unique experience in the management of pregnant women with different variants of pulmonary hypertension aroused active debates.
Experts from different regions of Russia discussed the issues related to PAH-specific therapy and initiation of the Russian CTEPH registry.
