The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Rector of the Italian University, Professor Giorgio Zauli and Director General of the Almazov Centre Professor Evgeny Shlyakhto in the historical building of one of the most ancient and distinguished universities of the country. The agreement is a result of long-term friendly contacts with Professor of Cardiology Roberto Ferrari. It provides for collaboration in research and educational areas, joint activities in basic and clinical medical science, development of joint educational programs, holding medical events as well as joint applications for international grants.
