On April 27, Sergey Kalugin, Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media, chaired a meeting of the Coordinating Council.
The meeting was attended by Elena Boyko, Director of Department for IT and Communications of the Russian Ministry of Health, Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of the Almazov Centre, as well as representatives of universities and entities forming part of the Consortium.
Alexandra Konradi, Deputy Director General for Research, presented the general vision of the areas for healthcare digitization. One of the major areas is the planning and construction of medical information projects on a nationwide and regional scale. Sergey Kalugin spoke about the selection of pilot projects in the Russian regions, the status of their implementation and the current portfolio of solutions.
The Memorandum on Cooperation establishing the National Consortium for the Development and Implementation of Digital Technologies in Healthcare (Digital Healthcare Consortium) was signed on February 16 during the meeting of the Board of Trustees at the Almazov Centre.
