EuroPCR 2018 is the world-leading course in interventional cardiovascular medicine and the largest congress for medical specialists of the Asia-Pacific region. Each year, it brings together more than 2,000 members of the cardiology community.
The specialists from the Almazov Centre attended the 10th EuroPCR Course that took place in Paris, France. Mikhail Chernyavsky, MD, Head of the Vascular and Interventional Surgery Department, and Dmitry Zverev, MD, Head of the Interventional Surgery Research Laboratory gave presentations about multilevel lesions of the brachiocephalic arteries and acute coronary syndrome caused by left main coronary artery compression, pulmonary trunk aneurism in a patient with pulmonary hypertension. They demonstrated new approaches to the hybrid treatment of carotid artery diseases. Vikentiy Kozulin, X-ray endovascular diagnosis and treatment physician, gave a presentation entitled “A direct aspiration first-pass (ADAPT) technique for acute ischemic stroke therapy”.
EuroPCR Course included interactive case discussions with the input of experts and the interventionists were able to share their experience and present interesting clinical cases. The presentations by the Almazov Centre’s specialists aroused great interest among the audience.
