On August 27 and 28, special live Breakfast Buzz sessions were held within the annual European Congress of Cardiology for the first time.
A Breakfast Buzz programme was hosted on the ESC TV Stage in Munich on Monday and Tuesday morning. A panel of European experts discussed on the main topics presented the day before.
Seven hospitals and medical centres across Europe were chosen among the applicants who sent their representatives — reporters — that relayed the centre's questions during the live morning sessions at ESC Congress.
Russia was represented by the Almazov National Medical Research Centre, and Dr. Nadezhda Zvartau, head of the organizational department for cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, acted as a reporter to bring the questions of her cardiology team.
The event drew the interest of cardiologists and other medical professionals. They had an opportunity to join the atmosphere of the largest ESC congress and gain an insight into the expert opinion on the topical issues in cardiology and research in this field.
