From September 16 to 17, the specialists from the Perinatology and Pediatrics Institute of the Almazov Centre attended the 13th Annual Congress of Perinatal Medicine in Moscow.
The first day featured the presentation on the regional experience in organizing a maternity and child care service. The special symposium of the Almazov Centre was held on the second day of the Congress as part of the discussion on pediatric integrative medicine.
Two specialists from the Almazov Centre received excellence awards at the Congress. Tatyana Pervunina, Director of the Perinatology and Pediatrics Institute, received an honorary diploma for an outstanding contribution to perinatology in Russia.
Dr. Natalia Petrova, PhD, was ranked first and became the award winner in the nomination “Technology of the Year”, Rehabilitation category for her paper “Rehabilitation in children with congenital central alveolar hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS)”. She was also nominated for the Person of the Year award.
