On March 15–19, Barcelona hosted the 34rd Annual Congress of the European Association of Urology (EAU19) that brought together over 15,000 specialists from 78 countries.
The Annual EAU Congress is a major event for urologists from Europe and beyond. It provides a forum for presenting original unpublished data and sharing ideas for urological innovation as well as disseminating evidence-based knowledge of primary clinical relevance. Renal, bladder and prostate cancers were the most studied topics and constituted about a half of all accepted abstracts.
The specialists of the urology and robotic surgery department headed by Prof. Mikhail Mosoyan traditionally took part in the Congress. At the poster session, Dmitry Fedorov presented the poster titled “Methodological basis for the prevention of pathological crystallogenesis”.
The Congress featured meetings of Russian and foreign colleagues, discussions of topical issues in science, education, applied medicine and agreements on joint research and clinical projects.
