On May 15, Vasily Golubev, Governor of the Rostov region, and Tatyana Bykovskaya, Health Minister of the Region, visited Almazov Centre to learn about the activities and the development strategy of the Centre as a leading research and clinical facility in the country.
During the visit, the guests discussed the issues of adopting the best organizational, medical and research practices of Almazov Center for health care in the Rostov region. It was decided to organize a set of activities for the training and professional development of qualified specialists at medical facilities in the region (training for students in the General Medicine specialty, training of multidisciplinary teams in various fields, practical trainings, etc.) The management of Almazov Centre made proposals to provide medical care to the population of the Rostov region.
The guests toured the Centre and visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, hybrid and MRI operating rooms, ICU, telemedicine centre, and Congress Centre.
The Governor and the Minister highly praised the facilities at Almazov Centre. In the near future, the Rostov region Government and Almazov Centre intend to sign a memorandum on cooperation.
