The specialists of the Clinical Pharmacology Department from Almazov Centre took part in two major international congresses.
Clinical pharmacologist Nonna Dobrynina presented a poster “Pharmacoepidemiological analysis of the use of antimicrobial and antifungal drugs in surgical intensive care units” at the 21st International Congress of IACMAC / ESCMID that was held on May 22-24 in Moscow.
Earlier, clinical pharmacologist Karina Monosova presented the department’s work in two posters at the Congress of the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID).
The posters were devoted to the cases of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis after heart transplantation and
the likelihood analysis of Klebsiella pneumoniae translocation for intestinal carriage in children under 1 year of age (the work by clinical pharmacologist Ksenia Demidenko).
This yearly Congress is a major event for antimicrobial chemotherapy professionals. This year, ECCMID 2019 took place on April 13-16 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and brought together more than 12,000 researchers and clinicians from all over the world.
