The specialists of the Department for X-ray Diagnostic and Treatment Methods took part in EuroPCR 2019, the world's major event dedicated to X-ray endovascular treatment of CVDs. This year’s course took place in Paris from May 21 to 24.
The event brought together over 15 thousand specialists from around the world. It featured more than a hundred lectures and seminars as well as surgery live broadcasts from different cities of the world.
The specialists of Almazov Centre gave the following presentations:
- “Aorto-right ventricular fistula after TAVI surgery” by Dmitry Zverev, head of Interventional Surgery Research Laboratory;
- “Reperfusion hemorrhagic complication of acute ischemic stroke” by Vikentiy Kozulin, X-ray endovascular diagnosis and treatment specialist;
- “Successful treatment of acute ischemic stroke in patients with bilateral thrombosis of the carotid arteries” by Dmitry Monosov, X-ray endovascular diagnosis and treatment specialist.
The participation of Almazov Centre specialists in such conferences is validation of their effective work and research achievements in X-ray endovascular surgery.
