On June 5, Almazov National Medical Research Centre became a venue for the working meeting chaired by Healthcare Minister Veronika Skvortsova and devoted to the implementation of Health and Demography national projects in the Northwestern Federal District.
Among the participants of the meeting were Alexander Gutsan, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District; Anna Mityanina, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, directors of key departments of the Russian Ministry of Health, chief visiting specialists of the Russian Ministry of Health and regional ministries, vice governors of constituent entities of the federal district, health officials of the Northwestern Federal District.
The meeting summarized the interim results of national projects for the current period of 2019. Deputy ministers, heads of the Ministry departments, heads of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare presented their analytical reports.
The conclusions set out the main lines for effective work at the regional level and for achievement of targets for all federal projects.
As part of the meeting, Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of Almazov Centre and chief visiting specialist of the Russian Ministry of Health, showed the Minister around the exhibition of medical innovations to show the domestic industrial and digital developments presented by more than 20 companies, including the Almazov Centre partners from the Translational Medicine Cluster.
Particularly, the Shvabe Holding, part of the Rostec state corporation, demonstrated the possibilities of interactive wards equipped with the Integro system. Two such rooms are available at the Children’s Rehabilitation Clinic of Almazov Centre. CRT Group presented to the Minister the voice assistant for physicians Voice2Med. Also, among the exhibits were robots designed to schedule appointments and check on the upcoming appointment over the phone.
