On June 5-8, 2019 the 17th European Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology was held in Warsaw, Poland. The Congress takes place every two years. It is a key event in this field. The event brought together more than 600 scientists from universities and research centres in 75 countries.
Specialists of Polenov Neurosurgical Institute took an active part in Congress. The specialists of Clinical Neurophysiology Department headed by Prof. M. Alexandrov presented six posters.
The posters by young scientists and PhD students E. Povalyukhina, N. Arkhipova and O. Toporkova aroused much interest. They presented new results of the analysis of the high-frequency activity in the cerebral cortex in patients with drug-resistant epilepsy (N. The Congress presented the latest advancements in all areas of clinical neurophysiology and was a venue to share knowledge and experience as well as to apply for participation in further studies thus enhancing international cooperation.
The programme of the Congress featured plenary sessions, symposia in various areas of neurophysiology, educational courses and workshops in English.
