On August 29, Almazov Centre held a completion ceremony for its residents.
Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of the Centre, congratulated the young specialists. Elena Parmon, Director of the Medical Education Institute, and Alexandra Topanova, deputy director of the Medical Education Institute for Social and Educational Work also expressed their congratulations and parting words to the graduating residents.
A total of 256 residents graduated in 27 specialties. The best graduates received certificates of merit for excellent studies, scientific achievements, a creative professional approach and active participation in the social life of the Centre. The most socially active graduates received memorable gifts.
As tradition goes at Almazov Centre, about a quarter of graduates continue their work here. The rest return to their regions or find work in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Many graduates work in the healthcare field, and we often get excellent feedback on their work, demonstrating the high quality of training at Almazov Centre.
