The 58th Annual European Society of Paediatric Endocrinology Meeting (ESPE 2019) was held on 19-21 September in Vienna, Austria. This is a major international event bringing together pediatric endocrinologists from all over the world.
Irina Nikitina, Head of Research Laboratory for Paediatric Endocrinology at Almazov Centre, presented the poster “Kisspeptin levels is a new diagnostic approach of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in boys” (authors: I. Nikitina, Yu. Yukhlina, I. Nagornaya, I. Kelmanson, E. Grineva).
The poster presented the results of research on the mechanisms of sexual development in delayed puberty and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
Also, as an ESPE member, Irina Nikitina took part in a number of sessions related to scientific and organizational decisions aimed at the development of paediatric endocrinology as both clinical and scientific specialty.
