During the St. Petersburg International Scientific and Educational Salon held on October 25–27, Almazov Centre presented its educational programmes and scientific innovations. Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of Almazov Centre and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, took part in the opening ceremony and the panel discussion, where he talked about the conceptual and promising areas for the development of medical education.
The presentation materials of Almazov Centre aroused interest among the would-be applicants, their parents as well as representatives of the teaching and scientific community.
The specialists of Almazov Centre presented the existing educational programmes, achievements and development prospects. Applicants were interested in a variety of issues: additional educational programmes, admission rules, individual achievement list, extra-curricular activities, scientific and educational infrastructure. Conversations with potential applicants showed that they not only know about Almazov Centre as a leading research and educational facility, but also perceive their studies here as a prestigious start to a future professional career.
