On April 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree “On the approval of the composition of the Presidential Council for Science and Education and the composition of the Presidium of the Council.”
The Presidential Council for Science and Education is a consultative body established to inform the President on the situation in the field of science, technology and education, coordinate his contacts with scientific organisations, educational establishments, and members of the science and education communities. The previous composition of the Council was approved in November 2017.
Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto has been a member of the Presidential Council for Science and Education since November 2017 and he once again became a member of the newly composed Council.
