The team of authors from the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Genetics of the Medical Education Institute (Head of Department T. Vavilova, Professor O. Sirotkina, Associate Professor L. Gaikova and postgraduate student A. Ermakov) was ranked first in the competition Coagulopathy in COVID-19 organized by the National Association of Experts on Thromboses, Clinical Hemostaseology and Hemorheology.
They presented a paper entitled “Blood cellular microparticles in patients with COVID-19 as a marker of activation of the hemostatic system.”
The panel of five independent experts noted significant differences in the level of research papers, their quality, scientific value, practical relevance and the rate of matching content.
