The 5th All-Russian Congress of Pediatric Neurosurgery took place in Moscow on March 3–5, 2021. The specialists from Pediatric Neurosurgery Department No. 7 at Almazov Centre – E. Fedorov, V. Ivanov, K. Sysoev gave presentations on neuro-oncology, craniofacial surgery and spinal neurosurgery.
Head of the Department A. Kim and Head of Pediatric Neurosurgery Research Laboratory W. Khachatryan were presidium members. At the plenary session, Prof. Khachatryan gave a presentation on modern surgical treatments for epilepsy.
In addition to the scientific part, the specialists of Almazov Centre took part in Medtronic’s educational master class showcasing neurosurgical power equipment.
