On November 18, Almazov Centre held the International Conference on Urinary Anomalies. The conference took place online.
The event discussed the topical issues of modern pediatric urology and andrology, including various aspects of diagnosis, medical and surgical approaches to the treatment of genitourinary anomalies in children.
The conference presented the latest ideas and approaches to the subject of congenital urinary malformations and showcased antenatal diagnostic modalities and intrauterine interventions, conservative and surgical treatment using minimally invasive technologies. It highlighted the importance of a multidisciplinary approach involving a nephrologist, urologist, surgeon and gynecologist in the rehabilitation of patients with such defects.
The event brought together pediatric urologists/andrologists, pediatric surgeons, nephrologists, neonatologists and pediatricians.
