Having presented the results of its Medical Education Institute, Almazov Centre successfully debuted in U-Multirank 2021, one of the most popular university rankings not only in Europe, but also worldwide.
U-Multirank is developed and implemented on the initiative of the European Commission by an independent consortium led by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE) in Germany, the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) from Leiden University, both in the Netherlands, as well as the Foundation for Knoweldge and Development (Fundación CYD) in Spain.
U-Multirank is a unique, multidimensional international ranking of higher education institutions. It compares university performance across teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. It is the largest and most inclusive ranking showcasing the diversity in higher education around the world. It is not a league table and does not use composite indicators, nor reputation weights. Therefore, there is no one best university in U-Multirank. The performance of a university is presented with individual scores – graded from ‘A’ (very good) to ‘E’ (weak) across the different areas.
With 6 ‘A’ scores overall, Almazov Centre scored “very good” in 3 categories: research, knowledge transfer and regional engagement.
It is worth mentioning that in the 2021 edition, 1,948 universities from 97 countries were evaluated.
