The Russian Diagnostic Summit took place in Moscow on October 19–21, 2021. It brought together specialists of laboratory medicine, functional testing, radiologists and sonographers.
Diploma and commemorative award
During the Summit the following events took place: VII Russian Congress of Laboratory Medicine, Final Conference of the Moscow Regional Department experts « Diagnostic Radiology: Interdisciplinary Interaction», VIII International Forum MIR-2021 «Management in Medicine», international specialized exhibition of diagnostic equipment and materials «Diagnopolis».
The event began with a welcoming address by President of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal, Deputy Health Minister Pavel Pugachev, Head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova.
The Russian Diagnostic Summit brought together more than 9,000 participants from 25 countries. For 3 days, more than 120 sessions were held in 16 halls and more than 600 lecturers delivered their speeches.
Traditionally, the Russian Congress of Laboratory Medicine featured the award ceremony in honour of the winners of the Laboratory Medicine Award named after Vadim Menshikov. Head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Genetics Prof. Tatyana Vavilova received the Menshikov award for contribution to science. The specialists of the Department also took an active part in scientific meetings with 7 presentations and 2 posters.
