The Healthcare in Russia 2021 event took place on 1 December 2021 at the Rossiya Segodnya International Multimedia Press Centre in Moscow. The organizers were the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Health Protection and the Roscongress Foundation.
Director General of Almazov Centre took part in the event with two presentations «Rehabilitation after COVID-19: focus on high-risk patients» and «Technologies for reducing mortality from circulatory diseases.»
A special focus was on how the experience of the COVID-19 pandemic helped improve the system of cardiac care in Russia and the measures for the improved provision of medical care that can help reduce mortality from cardiovascular diseases.
The event featured discussions on issues such as the spread of socially significant diseases, strategies to combat infectious threats and the importance of a value-based approach to dealing with the current economic challenges.
A summary resolution was drawn up to reflect the outcomes of each discussion track and form the basis of the programme for the Healthy Life Forum, which will take place at the upcoming Russian Investment Forum in 2022.
