The Congress of Young Scientists took place in Sochi from 8 to 10 December. The event was held as part of the Year of Science and Technology and was aimed at involving the young generation in scientific projects.
The Congress brought together representatives of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, authorities, industrial partners, outstanding leaders of domestic science, as well as young scientists, winners of grant competitions, students and schoolchildren with notable results.
The programme of the Congress featured round tables, sessions and discussions summing up the results of the thematic months of the Year of Science and Technology. Also, educational events were organized in various areas of research.
Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto took part in the plenary session of the March thematic month – New Medicine.
Deputy Director General for Information Technology and Project Management Dmitry Kurapeev gave a presentation at the plenary session of the April thematic month – AI in Medicine: Clinical Application or Myth?
At the Congress, Almazov Centre signed two agreements on scientific, educational and cultural cooperation: with Ekologiya Komforta and with MT Consortium companies.
