On August 23–26, specialists of Almazov Centre (WCRC for Personalized Medicine) took part in the IX International Forum of Technological Development TECHNOPROM 2022 in Novosibirsk.
Alexandra Konradi and Sergey Kulemzin gave presentations at the round table session «Innovative approaches to the creation of vital technologies for personalized medicine and saving the human potential of the Russian Federation.»
Deputy Director General for Research of Almazov Centre, Prof. Konradi spoke about changes in the health care system in the era of personalized medicine.
Sergey V. Kulemzin, Senior Researcher at the Research Laboratory of Genome Editing, Research Centre for Personalized Oncology, WCRC for Personalized Medicine, gave a presentation entitled “Advantages and limitations of CD19-specific cell therapy for hematologic malignancies.”
The Institute of Experimental Medicine demonstrated its achievements at TECHNOPROM 2022 as part of the WCRC for Personalized Medicine program. Together with its commercial partner Microbiom LLC, the Institute held a presentation of autoprobiotics.
Autoprobiotics are indigenous bacteria isolated from the organism and introduced for improving of microbiota. Personalized indigenous strains can be stored in a cryogenic depository for a long time. This unique development is intended for the goals of personalized medicine.
The international forum provided an opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues and to present the latest developments and achievements.
