Specialists of the Department of Paid Medical Care and Export of Medical Services took part in a practical business conference for medical, healthcare and pharmacy professionals “Innovations in Medicine and Pharmacy – Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation: International Potential of Russian Clinics and Health Resorts”, which took place from August 23 to 25. Tatyana Fedorova, Leading Specialist of the Medical Services Export Group, gave a presentation on the topic “Innovations in medicine: export of medical services at Almazov Centre.”
The next day after the conference, the participants visited Almazov Centre.
Among the members of the delegation were heads and leading specialists of health resorts in the Krasnodar Territory and the Urals, chiefs of regional hospitals in the Non-Black Earth Region, as well as specialists in medical information systems.
The guests learned about the history of Almazov Centre and its facilities. Chief of the Consultation and Diagnostic Centre Dmitry Ovchinnikov told the delegation about new forms of organizing outpatient appointments.
In addition, Nikolay Shelukhanov, Head of Rehabilitation Treatment Department, introduced the guests to the rehabilitation care management system.
Further, Dmitry Fedorov, assistant surgeon of the da Vinci Robotic Surgery Unit, told the members of the delegation about the history of robotic surgery at Almazov Centre and the current potential of the da Vinci robotic system in various fields (oncology, urology, gynecology, abdominal and thoracic surgery).
The guests highly praised the facilities of Almazov Centre and expressed their hope for further cooperation.
