On August 29, Almazov Centre held a graduation ceremony for 307 residency graduates as they embarked on the next phase in their medical careers. The best graduates were awarded diplomas and letters of acknowledgment.
The graduation ceremony started with a greeting by Anna Stepanova, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Science and Higher Education, followed by Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto who thanked young doctors for their work, dedication and help during the COVID-19 pandemic. Director of the Medical Education Institute Elena Parmon also thanked and congratulated the residents and wished them success in the profession. Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Irina Zazerskaya and Head of the Anesthesiology Department Vadim Mazurok addressed the graduates with kind parting words. At the end of the ceremony, young doctors were congratulated by the Dean of the Faculty of Higher Qualification Training, Prof. Gennady Kosyakov and Head of Residency Department Nadezhda Aisina.
The graduates sincerely thanked their teachers and mentors for their invaluable knowledge and experience as well as for the unforgettable warm atmosphere during their studies.
