The visit was a logical follow-up to the joint work on theranostics and nuclear cardiology between Medscan JSC, RUSNANO Management Company and Almazov Centre.
Almazov Centre was represented by Director General Evgeny Shlyakhto, First Deputy Director General Mikhail Karpenko and Daria Ryzhkova, Chief Researcher at the Research Department of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics.
Medscan JSC was represented by Chair of the Board Evgeny Tugolukov and Deputy Director General for the Development of Nuclear Medicine Dmitry Fomin. Also present was Igor Ozhgikhin, Senior Managing Director of RUSNANO Management Company.
During the meeting, the parties discussed plans to create a reference centre of the Medscan Group of Companies at Almazov Centre and set up a software and hardware system for processing radioisotope and other radiation imaging data.
The reference centre will involve specialists from the departments of radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation technologies of Almazov Centre.
The parties also discussed the coordination of reference centres in the fields of Oncology, Cardiology, Radiology and Neurology.
