From October 6 to October 7, Kemerovo hosted the International Congress Interdisciplinary Aspects of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation as part of events dedicated to the memory of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Chazov.
The congress focused on the issues of CVD diagnosis and treatment with a special emphasis on prevention and rehabilitation.
The following specialists of Almazov Centre gave presentations at the symposium entitled “Topical issues of rehabilitation of CHF patients”:

- Victoria Galenko, Junior Researcher, Heart Failure Research Laboratory, “The effectiveness of physical rehabilitation in CHF: clinical case”
- Albina Dzeboeva, Research Assistant, Heart Failure Research Department, “Dynamics of heart rate variability indicators in CHF patients with reduced EF during exercise training”
- Tatyana Lelyavina, Leading Researcher, Laboratory of High-Tech Methods for Heart Failure Treatment, “The role of muscle tissue in CHF pathogenesis: possibilities and effects”
- Maria Simonenko, Researcher, Cardiopulmonary Testing Research Laboratory, “Physical performance of post-heart transplant recipients”.
On the last day of the congress, Maria Simonenko was ranked second in the Young Scientist Competition with the paper “Post-heart transplant rehabilitation.”
