On October 18, a delegation from the Rostov region visited Almazov Centre. The delegation members were Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region A. V. Puchkov; Minister of Health of the Rostov Region Yu. V. Kobzev; Chief Visiting Cardiologist of the Rostov Region and the Southern Federal District A. V. Khripun; Chief of the Regional Consultation and Diagnostic Center D. V. Burtsev; Chief of Rostov City Polyclinic No. 4 A. N. Sereda; Acting Head of the Medical Information and Analytics Centre S. A. Zhilyakov.
The guests toured the Centre and visited the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Endoscopy Department, hybrid operating room, ICU and PET Centre. During the visit, Nadezhda Zvartau, Deputy Director General for Regional Programs, and specialists of the Federal Projects Department presented to the delegation the focus areas of the Situation Centre and the Analytical Centre for Internal Benchmarking.
Thereafter, a joint meeting took place with Director General Evgeny Shlyakhto. During the meeting, Deputy Director General for Information Technologies Dmitry Kurapeev spoke about the IT for analytical activities. Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Chief of the Consultation and Diagnostic Centre, presented the Centre’s experience in data-based outpatient management. Veronika Karlina, Head of the Medical Benchmarking for Federal Projects, gave a presentation on the topic “Creating tools for hospital performance monitoring and analysis.” At the end of the meeting, Aleksey Yakovlev, Head of the Regional Health Development for Federal Projects, spoke about the routing of patients with acute coronary syndrome. Members of the delegation highly praised the facilities of Almazov Centre and expressed their hope for further cooperation.
