On October 24, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia Artak Dzhumayan visited Polenov Neurosurgical Institute (branch of Almazov Centre) as part of his visit to the X St. Petersburg International Health Forum taking place from October 25 to 27, 2022.
Almazov Centre was represented by Konstantin Samochernykh, Director of Polenov Neurosurgical Institute; Konstantin Abramov, Deputy Chief for Neurosurgery; Natalia Ivanova, Head of Scientific Research; Anatoly Kondratiev, Chief Researcher at the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department. Also, Special Representative of the St. Petersburg Governor for Health Arfeniya Ter-Minasova attended the meeting.
During the visit, the guest toured the Institute, learned about its history and activities in the field of medical care to neurosurgical patients and visited the scientific library, the X-ray operating room and the ICU.
In closing, the participants of the meeting discussed specific areas of cooperation and expressed hope for the development and strengthening of interaction in the field of neurosurgery.
