On November 3, a delegation of the Komi Republic visited Almazov Centre. The members of the delegation were: Acting Health Minister of the Komi Republic Igor Diagilev, Deputy Health Minister of the Komi Republic Vagram Dallakyan and Chief Visiting Specialist in X-ray Endovascular Diagnosis and Treatment of the Komi Republic, Chief of the Clinical Cardiology Centre Dmitry Korotkov.
During the meeting, the guests learned about the facilities and equipment of the Centre. The meeting was attended by Director General of Almazov Centre Evgeny Shlyakhto, Deputy Director General for Regional Programs, Head of Federal Projects Department Nadezhda Zvartau, Director of Polenov Neurosurgical Institute Konstantin Samochernykh, Head of Regional Health Development for the Implementation of Federal Projects Aleksey Yakovlev.

The members of the delegation toured the Centre and visited a hybrid operating room, ICU, an adult neurosurgery unit, situation and analytical centres, PET centre.
Based on the results of the meeting, the participants outlined priority areas of cooperation in the field of science and education. Almazov Centre will support the establishment of a Risk Management Centre in the Komi Republic to promptly monitor the provision of medical care for CVDs.
