On June 23–24, Almazov Centre hosted the scientific and practical conference with international participation Professor Zaritskey Discussion Club. The event was held in hybrid format as part of the programme of the WCRC for Personalized Medicine with the support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The conference focused on the problems of diagnosis and therapy of patients with acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphoproliferative and myeloproliferative disorders. Challenges in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with hematological malignancies were discussed. The conference brought together hematologists, morphologists and specialists in molecular genetic testing.
Main topics included:
• Acute myeloid leukemia – risk-adapted therapy, including allo-HSCT
• Chronic lymphoproliferative disorders — the role of new therapies in patient management
• Chronic myeloproliferative disorders— optimization of targeted therapy, the role of molecular methods for diagnosing and predicting the results of therapy
