On June 3, at the Uzbek-Russian International Medical Forum, agreements were signed between Almazov Centre and Zarmed University (Uzbekistan).
The main goals of cooperation between Almazov Centre and Zarmed University are to establish long-term relations in the field of education, science, creation and implementation of professional educational programs, training and advanced training; introduction of new technologies, scientific developments and projects.
Multifaceted relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, based on mutual respect and trust, are now at a high level. A special focus of cooperation between the two countries will be on the development of medical education. Zarmed University is a young and promising university with 2 campuses in Bukhara and Samarkand. The strategic goal of the university is to create a modern educational and industrial cluster and to expand the list of training areas based on the best Russian experience.
Almazov Centre was represented at the forum by Dmitry Kurapeev, Deputy Director General for Information Technology and Project Management, who gave a presentation on “Artificial Intelligence Technologies as a Basis for Creating a Smart Clinic”.
