Specialists of Almazov National Medical Research Centre took part in the All-Russian Congress with international participation – Innovations in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology: from Science to Practice, which was held in Moscow at Dmitry Rogachev National Research Centre of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology on June 1–3.
During the event, leading clinicians from Russia and other countries presented modern achievements in various fields and areas of pediatric oncology, hematology and immunology. The topics included biology and molecular genetics of blood and immune diseases in children, innovative approaches to diagnostic testing in pediatric hematology, oncology and immunology, modern approaches to therapy in pediatric hematology, oncology and immunology, and more.
Yulia Dinikina, Head of Pediatric Neuro-Immuno-Oncology at the WCRC for Personalized Medicine, gave a presentation entitled «The role of high-dose chemotherapy with auto-HSCT in CNS tumors in children».
Also, two posters were presented by clinical residents:
— Hyperleukocytosis and leukostasis in acute leukemia in children: features of the clinical picture and therapeutic options by A.S. Kapustina.
— Evaluation of toxicity of induction chemotherapy in childhood leukemia by E.S. Lygina.
