On the 8th of June the signing ceremony of the agreement on interparliamentary cooperation between the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk region took place in the Mariinsky Palace. The agreement was signed by the leaders of the two parliaments, Alexander Belsky and Alexander Vedernikov.
As part of this business visit to St. Petersburg, the delegation from the Irkutsk region visited Almazov Centre.
The guests were welcomed by Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General; Dmitry Kurapeev, Deputy Director General for Information Technology and Project Management; Nadezhda Zvartau, Deputy Director General for Regional Programmes; Elena Parmon, Director of the Institute of Medical Education.
The members of the delegation toured the Centre and visited the Situation Centre, the hybrid operating room and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics.
