The vascular surgeon from Almazov Centre completed the first international cooperation internship at the Department of Vascular Surgery at the American Hospital Dubai under the guidance of Professor Hassam Hamdy, Gulf Medical University Chancellor.

Mikhail Chernyavsky, chief vascular surgeon of Almazov Centre and Chief of the Research Department of Vascular and Interventional Surgery, got acquainted with the organizational framework of the Centre, the procedure of patient selection, participated in the discussion of tactics and methods of treatment, visited the modern hybrid operating theatre of the clinic and took part in surgeries. As part of the internship, he also received training in topical issues and modern technologies in endovascular surgery.
