On the 14th and 15th of September, the Russian Live Neuroradiology Conference with international participation DHD 2023 «Devil hidden in details 2023» took place. The event aimed to provide a platform for healthcare professionals to discuss the latest advances in modern treatments and clinical research.
Experts from leading clinics (Polenov Neurosurgical Institute, Burdenko National Medical Research Centre of Neurosurgery, Federal Centre for Brain and Neurotechnology) presented their experience in the treatment of ophthalmic segment aneurysms arising from the internal carotid artery. They also discussed topical issues of endovascular surgery, the application of the results of major clinical studies and evidence-based medicine in the treatment of patients with cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and arterio-sinus fistulas, the introduction of new interventional technologies and methods for the treatment of complex cerebrovascular disorders, and the integration of advances in diagnostic techniques and the treatment of diseases of the carotid, vertebral, and intracranial arteries.
The conference combined expert opinion and discussion, presentations, and live cases.
The conference also addressed the implementation of an appropriate pharmacological approach to the management of patients undergoing diagnostic angiography and surgical treatment before, during and after catheterisation, as well as improving safety in the angiography suite and knowledge sharing between physicians, technicians and nurses.
The conference brought together neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, neurologists, endovascular surgeons, residents, nurses and other specialists from fields related to neroradiology and cerebrovascular surgery.
The event was attended by doctors from Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Africa, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Iraq, Armenia, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan and the UAE.
