ESOT Congress 2023: The International Transplant Congress organised by the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) took place in Athens, Greece, from 17 to 20 September.
Maria Simonenko, researcher at the Cardiopulmonary Testing Research Laboratory, transplant cardiologist, was invited to give a presentation on «Prehabilitation and rehabilitation after thoracic transplantation» at the European Association of Cardiothoracic Transplantation (ECTTA) symposium «ECTTA: Preserving the Organs and the Recipients in the Long Term».
She also gave a presentation on «The impact of exercise training on physical capacity and quality of life after heart transplantation» at the symposium «Contemporary Heart Transplantation: Scores, Pumps, Cells and Much More».
