On September 28, 2023, specialists from the Ministry of Health of Serbia visited Almazov National Medical Research Centre.
The delegation was represented by: Danilo Tvrdisic, Assistant Minister of Health of Serbia; Biljana Bazic- Djorovic, Doctor of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine of the Military Medical Academy, Branislava Radovic and Jelena Pantovic, Doctors of the Clinical Center of Serbia, Institute of Nuclear Medicine, and Marina Popovic- Krneta, Doctor of Nuclear Medicine of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia.
Foreign nuclear medicine specialists visited leading Russian medical centers as part of the Serbian state task for healthcare infrastructure modernization in construction and equipment of new oncology medical organizations in Serbia, the mission was held under the guidance of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia Danica Grujicic.
Almazov Centre was represented by Director General Evgeniy Shlyakhto; First Deputy Director Mikhail Karpenko; Deputy Director for Research Alexandra Konradi; Deputy Director for Information Technologies and Project Management Dmitry Kurapeev; Chief Researcher of the Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics Research Department of the Institute of Oncology and Hematology Daria Ryzhkova; Chief Physician of the University Clinic Dmitry Ovchinnikov; Chief anesthesiologist, Head of the Research Laboratory of Anesthesiology Andrey Bautin.
As part of the growing interest in cooperation between the medical institutions of Serbia and the Russian Federation, the specialists met for introductions and exchange of experience and visited the clinical units of the Almazov Centre, in particular, Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Hybrid cath lab, Intensive care unit and Research Department of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics (PET- centre), Accreditation and Simulation Center.
