Vladimir Strugov

Researcher of the Research Laboratory of Oncohematology

In 2008, he graduated from the Medical Faculty of Pavlov State Medical University. , then finished the internship in “Therapy” at Pavlov State University and residency in “Hematology” at Federal Almazov Medical Research Centre.

From 2011 — a junior researcher; from 2014 Vladimir — researcher at the Research Laboratory of Oncohematology.

Vladimir is a duty hematologist of the Hematology Department of Federal Almazov Centre.

Interests’ field: chronic lymphocytic leukemia pathogenesis, lymphoproliferative disease.

Vladimir Strugov participates in the following clinical trials:

• CC-5013-CLL-002 “Multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group phase III study of the efficacy and safety of lenalidomide (Revlimid) as the main therapy in patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia after second-line therapy”.
• CC-5013-CLL-008 “Multicenter, randomized, open, parallel-group phase III study of the efficacy and safety of lenalidomide (Revlimid), compared with chlorambucil as first-line therapy in previously untreated elderly patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia”.
