On 23 September, at the conference Reproductive Health in Uzbekistan: Achievements and Plans for the Future in Samarkand, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Almazov Centre and the Republican Specialised Scientific and Practical Medical Centre of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Uzbekistan.
The main purpose of the MoU is to establish long-term cooperation in the field of education: training at specialised departments of the Institute of Medical Education of Almazov Centre, exchange of experience in the training of young specialists, as well as joint cooperation in the field of scientific research.
Professor Irina Zazerskaya, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, was invited as guest of honour. She gave lectures on «Diagnostic algorithm and organisation of delivery in invasive and adhesive placental disorders» and «Peculiarities of periconceptional care in women with risk factors for infectious complications». She also took part in the MoU signing ceremony.
